Dear Potential Sponsor, The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is an educational and service organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineering. SWE’s mission is to stimulate women and men to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity.
The James Madison University SWE Section was officially chartered on May 6, 2013. The JMU SWE Section has been actively involved with SWE on a national and regional level. Also, JMU SWE has been a very visible organization on campus and in the community by hosting and participating in many events.
Our goal is to promote education, professional development, and outreach by holding a variety of events and activities for our members and for the community. These events are made possible solely through the generous support of our sponsors. We cordially invite YOU to support our organization and help empower women engineers to succeed and advance in engineering by becoming a part of James Madison University’s Society of Women Engineers! With your support, young girls and boys can also learn about careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields.
Sponsorship offers your company the opportunity to be recognized by a large network of Madison Engineers, professionals, parents, and professors as you support the promotion and exposure of engineering to people young and old!
With much gratitude, we look forward to you making an immense impact on student’s lives by leaving your mark on JMU SWE. Please review the remaining pages of the sponsorship packet for more details on becoming a JMU SWE Sponsor.
Gratefully, Emma Drummond President JMU SWE email@example.com Website: http://swejmu.weebly.com
